Almost every women is trying to find the best trick to grow long hair in a short period of time. The truth is, your hair probably grows an inch per month. Which isn’t that much. Also, the older you get, the more time it takes to grow your hair longer. But we have some good news, because there’s one method that can speed up your hair growth in just one week: the Inversion Method
The inversion method was discussed in ‘The Baldness Cure’ by Andy Bryant. By being inverted for a few minutes, your hair growth should be stimulated. It’s actually very simple:
- You massage a heated oil of your choice on your scalp. We love Jamaican Black Castor Oil, but you can also use olive oil or coconut oil.
- Then go sit on a chair and bend your head to your feet. So you hang upside down (inversion). Sit in this position for 3 to 4 minutes
- If you need to, you can wash your hair afterwards.
Repeat this consistently for up to 7 days in a row (for example Monday to Sunday). And then wait 3 weeks before doing the inversion method again.
Inversion therapy has existed for years and is being practiced to promote easy blood flow to the brain. It allows your body to recover after a workout by rapid waste disposal and works relieving for back pain. But how does this method grow your hair? The increased blood flow of the head that results from the “lower upper hanging” causes acceleration of hair growth. Some claim that even bald heads can grow hair again.
Step by step guide to grow long hair with the inversion method
Would you like to start growing your hair with the inversion method? Here’s a step by step guide. Also the results are stunning!
Step 1: Measure the length of your hair
To find out if your hair has grown after the inversion method, it is of course important to measure the length of your hair before starting. This is Wendy. Her hair is 36 centimeters long. The measurement was done on dry hair. She did have moisturizer in her hair.
Step 2: Warm up oil of choice
Choose an oil you are familiar with. We recommend olive oil, jamaican black castor oil or coconut oil.
Step 3: Massage your scalp with the oil
After you warmed up the oil, you can put it in a applicator bottle (like the Comb Applicator Bottle). Apply the oil to your scalp and start massage your scalp for about 5 minutes.
Step 4: Start the inversion
Go sit on a chair and bend your head to your feet. So you hang upside down (inversion). Sit in this position for 3 to 4 minutes
Step 5: Co wash you hair
It’s not really necessary to do this daily, but after the inversion you could co-was your hair (was your hair with conditioner). Do this 2 hours after you applied the oil.
Step 6: Measure the length of your hair
After 7 days it’s time to measure your hair again. Let’s get back to Wendy’s hair. She completed the inversion method. On day 7 this was the length of her hair:
So in one week she grew her hair from 36(14 inch) cm to 39 cm(15 inch)! This method definitely worked great for her hair!
